In a strong endorsement of the group’s uncompromising ethics – AESSEAL South Africa have recently been accredited by Trace International for their commitment to the fight against bribery and corruption.

“The purpose of the accreditation is to promote the ethics of anti-bribery and anticorruption in a company”, explains Craig Murray, the Finance Manager for AESSEAL’s South African business: The process of accreditation covered approximately 200 working hours.

Mr Murray goes on to say “A company needs to be sponsored by an existing member and pass a rigorous auditing process. Trace accompanies this by auditing individuals who have key roles in a company, such as the shareholders, directors and sales staff.”

The Trace organisation has more than 220 multinational member companies. The AESSEAL® application was sponsored by the pump manufacturer Sundyne – further demonstrating their trust in the company – having recently named AESPUMP their sole distributor in South Africa. AESPUMP is AESSEAL’s pump-management business, providing a range of pump supply, repair, maintenance and asset management services. The AESSEAL® group of companies rigorously adhere to very high ethical standard, which can be summarised as ‘uncompromising integrity’. The guidelines are simple: do the right thing, always.

We take an extremely tough stance against corruption of any form, and it’s great to have this recognised. We have always had these principles –and this accreditation is a very natural fit with the values we uphold in our business every day.

One part of this is an absolute no-corruption policy. AESSEAL’s Group Managing Director, Chris Rea, commented: “This is quite simply the way we do business – not just in South Africa, but around the World. We take an extremely tough stance against corruption of any form, and it’s great to have this recognised. We have always had these principles –and this accreditation is a very natural fit with the values we uphold in our business every day.”
